If you are planning a short break or thinking about dining during your visit to Clovelly, the New Inn specialises in excellent traditional English fare using fresh local produce.  It is home cooking at its best.  Menus change regularly.  Sometimes the restaurant is closed, so please do call to check availability.  You can also dine in the bar. STARTERS

Duck Parfaît with warm wholemeal toast and red onion marmalade
Seafood Cocktail (smoked salmon, prawns and crab) on a bed of green leaf salad
Grilled Mackerel Fillet on a bed of rocket with a smoked mayonnaise
Devilled Whitebait with a lemon and garlic mayonnaise dip
Three Cheese stuffed mushrooms (Cheddar, Stilton and Parmesan)on a bed of green leaf salad

 

MAIN COURSES

Clovelly Lobster, hot with garlic butter or cold with rocket salad (£10 Supplement)
Crispy Salmon Steak on a bed of tomato and sweet pepper sauce, buttered spinach and potatoes
Pan-fried Sea Bass with oriental spring onion
Crispy Duck Breast on a bed of cabbage, bacon and onions
Pan-fried Sirloin Steak with a peppercorn sauce

All served with seasonal vegetables
